You’ve heard all the stereotypes and seen the spaghetti westerns, but there’s a whole lot more to the grand state of Texas than just cowboy culture, rich history and even richer food. Texas has been a popular tourist destination for decades, but no matter how big it gets, it always manages to stay true to its roots. Willie Nelson, The Alamo, Tex-Mex…the list of reasons to visit the Lone Star state goes on and on. This isn’t one of those blogs that talks about the fabulous lifestyles of the ridiculously rich. People think they need to be wealthy to have incredible adventures. But if you know your city well enough - and are open to trying something new - then adventure is right outside your door! That’s why I like to explore all the wonderfully weird and exquisitely eccentric places around my town (currently Austin, TX) and share them with fellow adventurers and travelers.
