The weather outside may be frightful, but there’s nothing like a deliciously warm winter beverage to keep the frost bite at bay. Whether you’re hosting a festive holiday party or just looking for a fun night in, try these tasty cold weather cocktail recipes that will keep you warm all season long.
Green Tea Toddy
Sweet, warm and a little spicy, the Green Tea Toddy is the perfect beverage to warm your belly and your tastebuds. To make, coat the bottom of a glass coffee cup with 1 teaspoon of honey, then add 1 1/2 oz. whiskey or apple brandy. Heat 6 oz of Sparkling Ice Crisp Apple in a small sauce pot then pour into a glass. Stir to combine the ingredients, then garnish with a cinnamon stick, allspice cloves and apple slices.
Sparkling Pumpkin Spice Cocktail
This zesty fall cocktail is perfect for lemon lovers in the fall. The Sparkling Pumpkin Spice Cocktail has a little bit of Sparkling Ice Crisp Apple and a dash of pumpkin spice. To make, pour 2 oz. of whiskey, 1/2 oz. of lemon juice and 1 tbsp of pumpkin puree into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a rocks glass and float with 4 oz. of Sparkling Ice Crisp Apple. Then top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and enjoy!
Orange Cinnamon Blossom
For a winter party drink with a little bit of tang and spice, try the Orange Cinnamon Blossom cocktail. To make, rinse 1/2 a lemon and 1/2 an orange and thinly slice them, discarding the seeds. Put the fruit in a 4- to 5- quart pan and add 1 tablespoon honey, 1/4 cup sugar, 3 whole cloves and 3 whole allspice. (For a more tart flavor, use a little less sugar than the recipe calls for). With a knife, cut 2 cinnamon sticks lengthwise into thinner strips. Add the cinnamon and 2 cups of water to a pan; bring to a boil over high heat then reduce heat and boil gently for five minutes. Pour 1 bottle of Santa Margherita Prosecco Superior DOCG into a hot citrus base and heat until steaming (about 8 minutes). Keep the concoction warm over low heat and ladle into heatproof cups or wineglasses.
Ginger Apple Cooler

To make, combine 2 oz. of Crown Royal Regal Apple, 1 tsp. maple syrup, 1 tsp. lemon juice and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. A clever winter spin on a classic cocktail, the Elevated Vodka Martini is a refreshing and classy take on a winter party cocktail. To make, add 3 parts Purity Vodka and 2 parts spring water to a shaker with ice. Stir the mixture until it is ice cold. Then strain the concoction into a chilled martini glass and serve. It’s light, cool and perfect for any winter party occasion.
Irish Coffee
For a warm, winter pick-me-up, try the sweet and dark Irish Coffee. To make, heat 4 tsp whiskey in a sauce pan then incorporate 1 tsp light brown sugar to dissolve it. Pour the mixture into a glass and add 1/4 cups of espresso made with a Krups coffee maker on top. Lightly whisk 4 tsp heavy cream and arrange it carefully on top of the drink and serve hot.
Tip: the whipped cream can be made with siphon, but it will be denser and heavier.
