Whether you’re more into cheese or more into veggies, Home Slice is a great neighborhood pizzeria that has something good for everyone. Quickly becoming one of Austin’s favorite pizzerias, Pinthouse serves up the perfect blend of delicious, craft pizza and craft brew. This award-winning pizza joint and taproom dishes out gourmet, housemade pies for omnivores, vegetarians and everyone in between. They’ve even got a legit gluten free pizza that’s almost as good as the original – but gluten free foodies will always know the struggle. The scratch-made, sauced and tossed treats at Pinthouse are topped with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies, so every bite is an explosion of fresh flavors. With fresh baby arugula, housemade dressings and candies pecans, the Pinthouse salads are also worth a shoutout, but they’re really more of a warmup to the main event: a hot pan of melty, cheesy, pizza! Some popular specialty pies include the, the Honey Pear with extra virgin olive oil, sliced pear, caramelized onions, bleu cheese, prosciutto, basil and local honey, the Armadillo with local artisan sausage, ricotta cheese, poblano peppers and cilantro and the Shroomin’ Goat with olive oil, garlic, roasted mushrooms, arugula and local goat cheese.
