One 2 One Bar – Salsa Sundays

Centered in Austin’s uber cool south Lamar district, One 2 One bar is a well known watering hole and music venue that showcases a wide array of performers, from Rock and electric to indie and tribute bands. Along with great drink specials and awesome DJs, this diverse dance club also offers a different live show every night, so you’re always in for a surprise no matter what day you go. But if you’re in the mood for some spicy salsa dancing, One 2 One Bar now hosts weekly Salsa Sundays, a Latin-inspired happy hour featuring renowned Cuban group Timberos Del Norte with DJ Fabian and award winning Salsa pianist Paul Matthews.

Hidden on the second floor of Clay Pit restaurant, Pedro’s Place is an assuming Latin club and Cantina in south Austin that boasts a large dance floor, reasonably priced drinks, good vibes and some of the best Salsa Dancing in town! The space itself is small and dimly lit, with just a hint of dive and some great dance-worthy live music from 10PM-12:30PM. And to really get the party started, Pedro’s hosts weekly Salsa Nights every Wednesday, featuring DJ Vanessa La Bestia and Cuban influenced artist La Mona Loca, whose musical style is a hip-swaying blend of Latin sound and styles,  so you can salsa, samba and shake it til you drop!

BT2Bout Time II – Latin Night Sundays

One of Austin’s trendy gay bars, Bout Time II is a great place to get a drink and play around after hours.
