Independence Brewing CoComedy Mic and Showcase – Independence Brewing

Located in eclectic south Austin, Independence Brewing is a well-known craft brewery know for their fantastic selection of beers and ginormous tap room. During taproom hours, you can taste a bevy of beer flights that range from classics and seasonals to limited releases and brewery exclusive beers while you relax in the taproom and listen to chill live jams. Along with regular tours, Independence also hosts a handful of fun special events including food pop-ups, concerts, cookouts and trivia nights. But once a month on Sunday, Independence has a riotous comedy and open mic event known as Comedy Mic and Showcase. Each month brings different headliner to the stage, along with a hilarious host of performers from around Austin. The party kicks off at 5PM with DJ Propah English spinning beats while you get your grub on.
