Witches Market

For the mystics and magic seekers of the city, the Austin Witches Circle is a collective of local pagans, witches and magical folks that live in harmony with the earth. According to the Austin Witches Circle as adapted by Scott Cunningham, the goals of a witch include being attuned with the cycles of the earth, meditating, exercising body, eating and breathing to thrive, honoring nature, knowing yourself, knowing your craft, celebrating life and accepting death and achieving a balance. This altruistic, inclusive community-central group advocates environmentalism, equality of all genders, anti-racism, acknowledgement and respect of individual identities and creativity. It’s definitely not all cauldrons and broomsticks. Along with regular meet-ups and gatherings, the Austin Witches Circle also hosts seasonal markets and community events to support local artisans and celebrate the life of the witch. The Witches Brew Brunch Market at the zany vegan Zucchini Kill Bakery is open to all ages and brings handmade witches brews and potions, dark arts, mystics, divination, tarot, body care, elixirs, amulets, herbalism, sweet treats from Zucchini Kill and fresh organic gourmet fare from Bistro Vonish. Catering to the many beloved beer drinkers of Austin, Draft & Craft is a traveling pop-up market that brings together two of Austin’s favorite things: craft beer and artisanal crafts. This awesome ale event takes place around Austin’s favorite breweries and offers local vendors and artists the chance to sell their stuff in a friendly and affordable space. For shoppers, it’s the chance to sip delicious craft beers while they browse a spectacular selection of local handmade products. The I Heart Brew market at Friends and Allies Brewing was a buzz-worthy collaboration with Austin Eastciders and featured crafts from Radio Fonix, Elderflower Farmacy, Dye like Ike, Healthily Essential, Lyloeclectics and Abstract Expressions by Resi, plus tasty grub from the Ginger Armadillo. And the Draft and Craft Pooches and Pints pop-up at Yard Bar is a dog-friendly get-together with delicious drinks and eats from the bar plus swag for you and your pup from Boots and Arrow, Sprayed Expressions, Chloe + Isabel, Sassy Britchezz, Geaux Pup, Dale Carroll Art, Gonzalez Handmade and J’Mazen Boutique. Third Sunday Market at the Lemon Lounge

Located in hip downtown east Austin, the Lemon Lounge is a super swanky art and event space that hosts a variety of soirees for art and music lovers of all kinds. This multi-media gallery is open airy and ultra modern, and provides the perfect creative space for unique Austin gatherings. Plenty of local musicians and performers have played at the Lemon Lounge, plus the famous East Austin Studio Tour sets up shop inside the lounge during their traveling art exhibition. And if you’re in the mood for an artisnal shopping trip, then check out the Lemon Lounge’s Third Sunday pop-up shop. This monthly market gives different vendors the chance to show off their wares and shoppers an opportunity to take home one-of-a-kind vintage accessories and clothing, handmade candles and jewelry and incredible local art. Just Me Pop-Up

Helping to support the local vendors, brewers and artisans of Austin, Just Me is a fun weekly pop-up shop that features handpicked, unique items for men and women. This artistic market usually takes place at several breweries around Austin including Celis Brewery, Flying Man Brewery, Skull Mechanix and Two Wheel Brewing, and brings with it a fantastic spread of handmade jewelry, home decor, clothing, art, pottery, accessories and more. What better way to spend the a Saturday afternoon than chilling inside a spacious taproom with a beer in hand as you get your local shopping fix. The Just Me Sip & Shop event at Celis Brewery boasted handpicked items from Be Beautiful Jewelry, Moira’s Magic Makeup Scenegence, LuLaRoe, Paparazzi Accessories, Life’s Balance CBD products, Audrey & Jean Boutique and Jamie Rod Photography plus food truck treats. And the Just Me Art on Tap Pop-Up at Skull Mechanix brewing featured amazing local craft beer, tarot, henna and goodies from Scents by Courtney, Laurel Stalla Designs and handmade small batch gemstone soap and unique finds from Just Me Accessories.
